SaaS SQA engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:
Testing Enterprise Products: Lead and own test modules from an end-to-end perspective, ensuring high-quality delivery of enterprise products.
Web and Client-Server Applications: Test web and client-server applications built in Java, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Kubernetes and DevOps: Utilize a strong understanding of Kubernetes and DevOps practices to enhance testing processes and workflows.
Automation and Scripting: Develop and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Java, and Cypress. Write scripts using JavaScript, Groovy, Perl, and Python.
SaaS Products and Processes: Apply knowledge of SaaS products and processes, leveraging cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Jenkins, Rancher, OpenShift, AWS, and Oracle Cloud.
Test Case Management: Create, execute, and manage test cases, and report defects in a detailed and timely manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Mandatory Skills:
Java: Proficient in Java for developing and maintaining test scripts.
Selenium: Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium for automated testing.

Preferred Skills:
Automation Tools: Experience with Cypress or similar tools for test automation.
Scripting Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript, Groovy, Perl, and Python.
Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Rancher, OpenShift, AWS, and Oracle Cloud.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve defects and issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6 to 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in testing enterprise products.
Proven experience in automated testing using Selenium and Java.
Strong understanding of SaaS products, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.
