Position Overview:

The Business Development Intern (Cold Calling) will support our business development team by generating new leads and business opportunities through outbound cold calls. This internship offers valuable experience in IT services sales and business development, providing hands-on exposure to the industry and its practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling: Conduct outbound calls to potential clients, introducing our IT services and identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Research and identify prospective leads and decision-makers within target organizations in the IT sector.
  • Qualifying Leads: Evaluate the needs of potential clients and assess their fit with our IT service offerings. Qualify leads based on interest, budget, and potential for conversion.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or calls between prospective clients and our sales team to discuss our IT solutions in detail.
  • CRM Management: Assist in maintaining and updating lead information in the CRM system, tracking interactions and lead progress.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team in developing and executing strategies for lead conversion and achieving sales goals.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on call activities, lead status, and other key metrics to the business development team.
  • Market Research: Help gather information on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to aid in positioning our IT services effectively.
  • Follow-Up: Perform follow-up calls and send emails to nurture leads and maintain engagement throughout the sales process.
