Key Responsibilities:
Technical Design Review: Ensure the development work complies with the technical design document and project standards.
Development Effort Estimates: Determine and validate development effort estimates.
Testing Support: Assist functional teams in testing efforts and preparing test data.
Required Skills and Expertise:
SAP ABAP Experience: Minimum 6 years
Development Areas:
Reports: Classical, Interactive, and ALV (preferably ALV using OO Methodology)
Interfaces: BAPI, BDC, Flat file Interfaces handling files on both Application Server and Presentation Server
EDI-IDoc
Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Spots
Data Dictionary and Performance Tuning
OO ABAP
Webdynpro and Workflow (preferred)
Development Standards/Processes: Strong adherence to development standards and processes.
Soft Skills and Leadership:
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues by analyzing programs and determining solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present, discuss, and articulate effectively.
Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading a team; good listener and people manager.
Project Experience: Comprehensive understanding and experience in SAP implementation, support, and upgrade projects.
Effort Estimation: Proficient in effort estimation considering object complexity and making accurate assumptions.
SDLC Awareness: Good awareness of the entire SDLC and related processes; ability to visualize and formulate process flow diagrams.
Proactive Management: Proactively drive and track development work, ensuring timely production of status reports.
Technical R&D: Conduct R&D on technical issues, create Proof of Concept programs, and assist the team in the development process.
Qualifications:
SAP Certification in ABAP (preferred)
