Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and PL/I programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications, ensuring high performance and stability of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and PL/I.
Analyze and understand business requirements to create efficient and reliable mainframe solutions.
Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in mainframe applications to ensure seamless operation.
Optimize and enhance existing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and implementation of new features and enhancements.
Document technical specifications and provide support for production issues when required.
Mandatory Skills:
COBOL programming language

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
