Power Apps Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements. Translate these requirements into functional specifications for Power Apps.
• Application Development: Design, develop, and customize Power Apps applications to meet the business needs. Ensure the integration of these apps with other enterprise systems and databases.
• Code Writing: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on the functional descriptions provided. Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• SQL Database Management: Utilize SQL for data management tasks, including querying, updating, and managing databases. Ensure data integrity and optimal performance of database operations.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Address bugs and issues promptly.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, user guides, and process flows.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure successful deployment and support of Power Apps solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Power Apps features, SQL advancements, and industry trends. Implement best practices and optimize existing applications.

Mandatory Skills:

• Power Apps: Proficient in developing, deploying, and managing applications using Microsoft Power Apps. Experience with Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and Power Automate.
• SQL: Strong experience in SQL for database management, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and ensuring data accuracy.

Desired Skills:

• SSO (Single Sign-On): Familiarity with implementing SSO for user authentication and access control in Power Apps.
• Azure DevOps: Experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and project management.
• Azure Services: Knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management, to enhance Power Apps functionality.

Domain: Manufacturing – Electrification

• Experience or familiarity with the manufacturing domain, particularly in electrification, is a plus. Understanding the specific needs and challenges of this industry will aid in developing more effective Power Apps solutions.
