Project Manager / Scrum Master

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a Project Manager and Scrum Master for cross-functional project teams.
2. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
3. Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.
4. Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog.
5. Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear understanding of technical requirements and dependencies.
6. Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
7. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and organization.
9. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Leverage Heroku expertise to drive technical solutions and integrations within projects.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in project management roles.
2. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience serving as a Scrum Master.
3. Excellent communication and articulation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Ability to understand technical aspects of projects, particularly with Heroku experience.
5. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience in the banking industry or other regulated industries.
2. Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM).
3. Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
4. Experience with other cloud platforms and technologies.
