Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
2. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of applications.
3. Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
4. Design and implement automated test suites using testing frameworks and tools.
5. Perform manual testing as needed, including exploratory testing and ad-hoc testing.
6. Document test results, defects, and test coverage metrics.
7. Leverage Heroku expertise to ensure quality and reliability of Heroku applications.
8. Stay informed about the latest Salesforce and Heroku features, updates, and best practices related to testing.
9. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issues.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance roles.
2. Familiarity with Salesforce testing concepts and methodologies (preferred).
3. Hands-on experience with Heroku implementations.
4. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with Salesforce testing tools (e.g., Salesforce Test Automation).
2. Heroku Certification.
3. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
4. Exposure to Agile methodologies.
