SAP Test Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Strategy:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for SAP systems, ensuring all aspects of the system are covered.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test plans.
• Test Estimates:
  • Provide accurate test estimates for projects, considering all phases of the testing lifecycle.
  • Assess resource requirements and timelines for test automation projects.
• Tosca Automation on SAP:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca for SAP applications.
  • Execute automated tests and ensure the results are accurate and reliable.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize Tosca test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Automation Testing:
  • Implement and manage end-to-end automation testing processes.
  • Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved before deployment.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Communication and Client Handling:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding test automation.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of test automation projects.
  • Address client queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in test automation best practices.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all testing activities comply with established standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of test scripts and processes to ensure high quality.

Mandatory Skills

• TOSCA Automation on SAP:
  • Extensive experience in using Tosca for automating SAP applications.
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain Tosca test scripts.
• Automation Testing:
  • Proven track record in automation testing, including scripting, execution, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and best practices.

Domain

• E-commerce:
  • Experience in the E-commerce domain, understanding its unique requirements and challenges.
  • Ability to adapt test automation strategies to meet the dynamic needs of E-commerce platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in test automation, with a focus on SAP and Tosca.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Attributes

• Certification in Tosca or SAP testing.
• Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
