Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Develop and maintain data solutions using Snowflake, focusing on optimal performance and scalability.
• Cloud Architecture: Architect and manage AWS cloud environments to support various business applications and integrations.
• Documentation: Create and maintain formal system documentation, leveraging experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Architect.
• Solution Design: Design solutions for hybrid cloud platforms, integrating on-premises and cloud-based applications effectively.
• Integration: Develop and implement integration solutions using AWS tools and methodologies.
• Database Management: Utilize strong SQL DBA skills to design and build database schemas, with a preference for Snowflake expertise.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively and independently with a range of business stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met.
• Problem-Solving: Apply a problem-solving mindset to address technical challenges and optimize solutions.
• Learning and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly in AWS and Snowflake, to continually improve and innovate.
• Compliance: Ensure solutions comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and regulations within the mining domain.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Snowflake developer, with a strong focus on AWS cloud environments and architecture.
• Strong SQL DBA skills, with experience in schema design and build.
• Experience in system documentation as a Technical Business Analyst or Architect.
• Demonstrated solution design experience, particularly in hybrid cloud platform applications.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud integration methods and tools.
• Some development and system knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a quick learner.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders.
• Experience in the Mining – HSE domain is a plus.
