Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with over 5 years of experience in SQL, Python, and software development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design and implement robust and repeatable data transformation processes while ensuring data integrity and quality. This role involves hands-on participation in medium to large-sized data migration projects, along with expertise in ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data transformation pipelines using SQL and Python to support business needs.
Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and reliable.
Participate in medium/large-scale data migration projects, including planning, execution, and quality assurance.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout all transformation and migration activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders, to understand and address data requirements.
Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows for performance and reliability.
Document processes, workflows, and technical designs to maintain transparency and facilitate future scalability.

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with a track record of implementing data workflows.
Experience working with ETL tools and frameworks to design and manage the extract, transform, and load processes.
Hands-on involvement in data migration projects, including handling large datasets and ensuring seamless transitions.
Deep understanding of data integrity principles and ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and big data technologies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
