Description:
In-depth, hands-on experience with data warehouse ETL tools and technologies such as Abinitio, Snowflake/Oracle, Control-M that will be leveraged to support our ETL platform built on AWS. The position is part of the Data Platform Operations team supporting our current and next generation Warehouse platform to deliver a best-in-class scalable, highly available operational warehouse platform to enable our customers and our fast-growing business.
Must Have:
Application Expertise:
Very good knowledge on ETL Architecture and development (Abinito preferred)
Very good knowledge on Data warehouse Concepts and Architecture
Very Good Knowledge on SQL concepts (Oracle, MySQL…)
Knowledge on Snowflake database
Good exposure on Enterprise Schedule (like Control-M)
Should have exposure to Extensive Operations Support on the above-mentioned applications
Should be ready to work in UK shift
Programming & Development Skills:
Good knowledge in scripting skills (Unix, python etc…)
Coordinate with the Systems Engineering team to plan and execute system upgrades of existing warehouse application tools
Maintain the software development disciplines including version control using Git repository
Project Level Activities:
Work with developers and architects to advise on standards and best practices
Good understanding of Database architectures and data models
Creating and maintaining technical documentation
Actively work with onshore team
Exposure of working in Agile model
Good to Have:
AWS cloud knowledge
Good understanding of AWS data services such as Lambda, EMT, Athena, Glue, Redshift
Preparing Dashboards and metrics collection using tools such as Grafana, Datadog
Automation of monitoring frameworks for key business jobs
