Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the end-to-end implementation of medium to large Workday integrations and Extend solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday Extend applications to meet business needs, ensuring all components are well-integrated and functioning smoothly.
- Develop and manage web service integrations using SOAP, REST, WSDL, and XML, with a strong emphasis on XSLT.
- Utilize iterative or agile software development methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure robust security measures are in place for Workday applications and integrations, adhering to best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand Workday functional areas and create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support global integration deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Extend applications and integrations, providing technical support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday features, releases, and industry best practices to continually improve and optimize solutions.
- Document technical solutions, integration processes, and workflows for reference and training purposes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in designing and building Workday Extend applications.
- Proven experience in successful end-to-end implementations of Workday integrations and Extend solutions.
- Strong expertise in web service integrations using SOAP, REST, WSDL, and XML, with proficiency in XSLT.
- Solid understanding of Workday security and functional areas.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
